Getting there

Rias Sahir is only about 8km from Marrakech Menara Airport. In a taxi this should take about 20 minutes depending on the time of day and traffic.

Flights from the UK

Direct flights from the UK to Marrakech (RAK) depart from several airports, including London Stansted (STN), London Gatwick (LGW), Manchester (MAN), Bristol (BRS) and Edinburgh (EDI). Airlines operating these routes include BA, easyJet, Ryanair, and TUI.

Airport Transfers

Taxis are available at Marrakech Airport and fares are regulated. Prices are fixed and tickets are available from a booth just to the right of arivals.  It is important to agree this fare before you take the ride. The journey to Rias Sahir should take about 20 minutes. We can arrange to have you collected and to navigate you through the medina to find us. There is no car access to the riad and we have staff who can collect you and porters to bring your luggage. Assisted arrivals should be booked with us in advance.

For the ultimate service we can arrange your own personal car and driver to be on call 24/7 for the duration of your stay if you are exploring Morocco, however from our Riad you can explore all of Marrkesh on foot.

For those who wish to be more independent, we can arrange luxury car hire to drive yourselves, collect and return at the airport.
N.B. You’d need to have both an international driving permit (IDP) and your UK driving licence with you in the car. You cannot buy an IDP outside the UK, so get one before you travel.
